February 3, 2008Hey! Things are busy around here! We had a Visitation Day yesterday that I took a group of people on a tour of the campus! It is a great way for juniors and seniors to check out the school (and it’s a lot of fun for us because we get to show off our school)! We get to tell them about all of the programs and activities we participate in and basically what we do here at VSU! If you missed it, we are having another one on March 22, so come check it out. I had my first test this semester in biology and I did pretty well. I also have 3 tests this week in sociology, psychology, and political science so I have got a lot of studying to do! My classes have been going pretty well so far, a lot of work and studying but I’m making it. I got to be in a movie for the admissions office this week too. Someone came and asked me a bunch of questions about my experience so far with VSU. It was really cool. It will be on the website: www.youniversity.tv so check it out! Hopper Hall is moving along very quickly! It’s going to be so nice when it’s finished with the bathroom, suite style rooms and all! And the parking decks are coming along pretty quick too. The parking lot is still torn up, but it won’t be like that for much longer. I think it’s a lot easier for students now that we have gotten used to the parking situation. It’s going to help VSU a lot in the long run since our campus is growing so quickly! Well, I hope you have a good week and I will write again soon!
