February 13, 2009Hello! Looks like this semester is going as fast as I though it would! I have been so busy—it shouldn’t be legal! Ha. February has been a really good month so far. Last Saturday, I volunteered to work another visitation to show prospective students around the campus and support my University. It went really well. I toured a group by myself and had about 5-6 girls with their parents. They were really sweet and very interested in the school! After visitation, I went out to the South GA motor speedway in Cecil to hang out with some of my friends. We had a really good time. Classes are going great! Kind of stressed out with the Tuesday/Thursday classes, but its very typical-- & needless to say I put the PRO in procrastination. J Oh also—I went to the ADPI Mallard Ball with some of my girlfriends the other weekend—That was a lot of fun too! For Valentine’s day weekend I am making my way up to Athens to play in a tennis tournament with the club tennis team here. I’m very excited about that-- & just keeping my fingers crossed we can kick some butt! Some more exciting news—My old roommate came down last weekend to hang out with us! I missed her and I know she misses it here too! I have started to shop around for a house or apartment to live in this summer after we all get booted out of the dorms. I’m really looking forward to living on my own even though these past month have been a blast living in the dorms. Advice to all the prospective students—TURN in your housing applications ASAP. The new hall, Georgia will be open this coming fall. Also, I have been asked to join the Honors program—Yay. Mom and dad are proud! J I have to fill out some paperwork and write an essay. So much has been going on in my life—Very exciting things and not so exciting. My boyfriend is leaving soon to Afghanistan. God Bless the Troops. Shouldn’t be a bad deployment—he will be coming back in June if he isn’t extended until September. That sums up pretty much everything important that is going on in my life- I will update in a couple weeks. I really can’t believe it is almost spring break! Stay posted!
