My apologies for not writing sooner!  Let’s see…last time I wrote to you I had just gotten hives, I was embarrassed at the football game, and admitting to being a mommy’s girl.  Now that I have completely embarrassed myself I can move on. : )  Things are crazy around here.  I think finals make students crazy on their own, and when you add the holidays it is just plain chaos.  Fortunately, for my classes I only had to write essays!  And I love to write so that is a major plus!  There is one final but it is my orientation class and it is open book.  I am so ready for Winter break!  I will be able to sleep, eat good food, and be with family.  My roommate and I finally got a TV so we are not sitting in silence all the time.  We joke and say it feels like we are in an insane asylum.  White walls and silence will do it to you!  My advice for dorm rooms is bringing a lot of decorations.  We have a poster and some pictures on the walls and the rest is plain white.  Now that we have our TV we can stare at something other than our computers, walls or sometimes each other! ha jk

I found my new favorite breakfast place on campus.  Einstein’s Bagels!  It is pretty scrumptious if you ask me.  My friend Allie and I always go get a bagel, coffee cake, or hot chocolate.  One time my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I got all three! This was not a good mix, though :) Einstein’s was hiding from me in the College of Education building.  A friend told me about it and I went to check it out and loved it!

Our football team is on a roll!  They are going to the semi-finals this Friday.  It’s too bad they are not playing here in Valdosta.  I won’t be able to practice my cheer.  Well, I am sure people will be thankful for that, though ha-ha.

I really suggest bringing a bike to Valdosta.  Don’t be afraid you will look dumb because so many people have them here.  I’ve found that my bike is very useful when I need to get to my car.  Parking is pretty bad here, I will tell you that.  The Oak street parking lot is where freshman park their cars.  I feel like it takes decades to get there from the dorms so I ride my bike to my car and lock it up on a pole.  I do have other ways of transportation but my friends just won’t allow me to do this.  I have those shoes with wheels.  They are called Heely’s.  I think they are best things ever made.  I tried to wear them to class but they were too many cracks in the sidewalk and I kept tripping and getting laughed at…so I don’t sport the Heely’s too much anymore. J

Well let me run kids, I am busy like Santa Claus on Christmas Eve! (Ok, that was lame, but I try!)

               Happy Holidays!
