April 23, 2008Hello all! I thought I was busy…until finals week started to approach. WOW! There is so much to do! I have to study, start packing up the dorm room and still have social time! haha! It’s crazy around here but I know once finals are over I will have absolutely nothing to do, so I am looking forward to that. Guess what? I got a dog! I had been volunteering at the animal shelter here in Valdosta for a few weeks now. I fell in love with one of the dogs and decided to take it home myself! Right now, it is living with my dad but once schools out she’s all mine! I can’t wait. I named her Marlee! Now that school is about over I really am thinking how it went so fast. First semester was so scary! I wanted to run back home…but when second semester rolled around I felt like I had things under control. I started to know how to live on my own, manage my time, and get enough sleep! Don’t be nervous when you come here, though. Everyone is in the same boat, so don’t be afraid to randomly go up to someone and introduce yourself…you’ll find you might make a life long friend that way! I do need to get to studying but I will make sure to write one more blog saying goodbye!! OK talk to you soon!
