Hey Everyone! My name is Abby. I have lived in lots of places (such as metro Atlanta and metro Washington DC), but I call home Rome, Georgia. I am so excited to begin my college years in Valdosta because it’s such a great place! My major is Theatre Production with a concentration in Stage Management. I want to stage manage dance shows one day.
The reason I decided to apply and come to the one and only Valdosta State University was because of the Theatre Program, the class sizes (all my classes are 30 people or less!), the never-ending list of organizations, and the location!
I live on campus in a two-person suite in Georgia Hall (the new suite style for freshman). I will be going through Greek recruitment, participating in all the theatrical productions on campus, and maybe even joining some organizations that cross my path! I hope to give some insight on how it is to be a Valdosta State Blazer beginning with move-in all the way to the end of freshman year!
