Mission Statement

The Division of Student Affairs' mission is to promote student development and leadership by providing quality programs and services that fulfill the diverse educational, recreational, social, and multicultural needs of the student population and the university community.

Division Goals

  1. Student Affairs will provide safe, accessible, adequate and modern facilities to meet the ever-changing needs of the university community.
  2. Student Affairs will utilize shared resources to provide and promote program opportunities that foster an inclusive and diverse environment.
  3. Student Affairs will provide high quality student services through assessment/evaluation processes in support of decisions regarding budgetary requests and demonstrating financial accountability.
  4. Student Affairs will market programs and services to increase student engagement, and promote civility, social responsibility and healthy lifestyles.
  5. Student Affairs will promote an environment for cross-training and professional development within divisional departments.
