Step 1: Determining your VSU ID number

Every employee of the university has a unique VSU ID number that begins with 870. You will need this number in order to retrieve your username and password in the next step.

If you do not know your VSU ID number, please visit the Banner Registration web page and click User Identification Number to retrieve it.

Step 2: Determining your VSU username and password

Once you have determined your VSU ID number, visit our Password Management page. Filling out this form will let you find your username and set your password.

Step 3: Access VSU electronic services

Your username and password can be used to access a number of VSU electronic services that you will need to complete your job duties including:

  • Email (Office 365) - Please note that you will need to log in with your full email address as your username. Access email, calendars and contacts. 
  • Online Classes (BlazeVIEW) - Use the username you located in step 2. Access online course content such as syllabi, discussion boards and assignments.  Please note that you will not be able to log into the Blazeview system until your first day that you attend class.
  • Registration (Banner) - Please note that you will need to log in with the VSU ID number you acquired in step 1 as your user ID. Register for classes, check class schedules and grades, pay fees.

Step 4: Connecting to VSU Wireless

Follow the steps in our Connecting to VSU Wireless guide in order to get Internet access for your laptops, tablets, and other mobile devices.

  • To submit a help request, please log into the VSU Service Desk system with your VSU username and password.
