PC Printing Instructions (XEROX)
Please be aware that printing to the VSU MFP Xerox printers can only be done from VSU computers, or from computers connected to the campus wireless network. In addition Windows 8 and 8.1 user will only be able to print from Desktop applications, not Metro apps.
When you are ready to print your document, select the appropriate printer group:
- VSU Student XEP B&W - Print jobs sent to this group will be printed in black and white and can be claimed at any card-swipe printer on campus.
- VSU Student XEP Color - Print jobs sent to this group will be printed in color, and can only be claimed from locations where a color printer is available. See the location list on our web site for details.
Then, click the Print button.
The following prompt may appear, based on the location where you are printing.
NOTE: Once the full campus deployment has been completed, this step will be modified so that it is uniform for the campus.
If the prompt appears, enter your VSU computer login (Active Directory) username and press the Print button.
If the prompt does not appear, proceed to step 3.
You can claim your print job from any campus printer with an attached card reader device by swiping your VSU ID card.
Note: If you do not have your VSU ID card with you, you can press the touch screen on the device to log in with your Active Directory (campus computer login) username and password.
Your print job(s) will appear on the black Omega Terminal. Press the row containing the title of each print job you wish to print.
After you have done so, press the Print button.
Press the Exit button to the top-right of the touchscreen.
