This is the department which houses groups that deal with the physical side of Valdosta State Universities Systems and Servers.  The groups included in this are:


Network Services' goal is to provide all campus users with a consistently reliable data connection to and from all campus data resources. We strive to bring you the best service and services available to enhance the learning experience at Valdosta State University.With ongoing projects such as VSU Wireless, real-time video streaming, and high speed data connectivity, Network services is doing our part to help VSU stand strong in the new millennium. System Operations

Systems Operations, an area within Infrastructure Support Services (ISS), supports Valdosta State University by providing the many enterprise computing functions used daily by faculty, staff, and students. Systems Operations maintains the University's data center, which houses most of the enterprise systems on campus; as well as, contributes to the continued operation of such applications as Xtender, Banner, and Degree Works.

Systems Operations is led by Dwayne Trouille, Coordinator; along with team members: Annon Beepath, Rhett Burroughs, David Pierce, Systems Services Associates, and Michael Young, Systems Services Assistant.

Workgroups Systems Services

The Workgroup Systems Services team is a component of Valdosta State University’s Enterprise Infrastructure Services group.  Workgroups Systems provide campus Tier 3 level systems support for Active Directory Services, Office 365 cloud based email, campus File and Printer Sharing, and lab fee based printing services. The support tasks for Workgroup Systems includes daily systems maintenance on Microsoft Windows core infrastructure systems, escalated client support, management of Microsoft based academic systems, project planning, research and testing of advanced technologies, and back-end support for Technical Support Services.
