• Dining Services accounts for which you have registered and paid for through Banner or the Bursary are accessed with your VSU 1Card.  Your FLEX account is not considered a meal plan, however you may use it at any dining location on campus.
• Your FLEX account maybe used to make purchases in person at the VSU Bookstore.  Online purchases through the VSU Bookstore are not available with FLEX.
• The magnetic stripe on the back of your VSU 1Card is encoded by Housing and Residence Life to allow access into your residence hall upon payment of fees and room assignment.
• Laundry rooms in residence halls accept FLEX only as payment for utilizing the laundry equipment.
• Many campus drink and snack vending machines are equipped with card readers to utilize FLEX account funds.
• The VSU 1card is required to utilize medical serves at the Student Health Center if you have paid the current semester's health fee through your student account or at the Bursary.
• The VSU 1Card FLEX account may be used in Parking and Transportation to pay for parking decals, tickets etc.
• If you have paid the current semester's activity fee through your student account/the Bursary you may use your VSU 1Card to access the Student Recreation Center.  Please contact Student Recreation Offices regarding your privileges.
• Odum Library utilizes the bar code on the back of your VSU 1Card to allow you access to library material.
• If you have paid the current semester's Athletic fee you can use your VSU 1Card to obtain admission to athletic events.  Please contact the Bursary to verify payment of this fee.

Ways to Add Money to Your FLEX Account

• You can add funds to your FLEX account online by using the Online Card Office.  All major credit cards accepted.
• You can add money at the VSU 1Card Services office by cash or check.
• You can also add cash money to your FLEX card by visiting one of the Value Transfer Stations located in the mail room at Hopper Residence Hall or outside the Langdale Market at Langdale Residence Hall.
