It is essential that faculty understand appropriate use of plagiarism prevention tools, and interpretation of Originality Reports. VSU provides an Online Orientation for faculty. The Turnitin orientation is a self-paced training delivered online through BlazeVIEW D2L and can be found instead of the "Faculty Course Tools" course that is made availble to VSU instructors. The orientations include step by step instructions for setting up the tool in your BlazeVIEW course sections.
If you have searched your coruse list and do not believe that you are currenlty enrolled in the "Faculty Course Tools" course in BlazeVIEW D2L, please select the contact us form in the left navigation and let us know that you need to be added. Your request will be processed in 1-2 business days* and the Orientation section will appear on your BlazeVIEW course list. Please make sure in the comments field you note that you are seeking to gain access to "Faculty Course Tools".
For more information about plagiarism detection software please visit the Academic Honesty webpage.
If additional Turnitin support is needed, please select the Contact Us button located in the left navigation or call the Center for eLearning at 229-245-6490.
*1-2 working days is the average amount of time during normal work weeks. During peak work weeks such as the beginning of the semester or during finals please allow at least 5 working days for the processing.
