Learn Spanish in Cádiz, Spain
Cádiz is located on Spain’s Costa de la Luz in Andalucía, the southernmost province of Spain. You will live within walking distance of beautiful beaches, shops, restaurants, and the university. Classes are held at the University of Cádiz where the professors utilize innovative communicative techniques for language instruction.
Program Duration: June 23 – July 26, 2015
Location: Cádiz, Spain
Cost: $4,850 plus VSU Tuition and fees
The Cádiz program cost includes round-trip airfare (Atlanta/Madrid), airport transfers in Madrid, travel within Spain by luxury tour bus, full room and board for four weeks in Cadiz, all program cost for the University of Cádiz, international health insurance, overnight stays in Madrid, Segovia, and Cordoba, guided excursions to Sevilla, Pueblos Blancos, and El Puerto de Santa Maria.
All Spanish Courses offered in the VSU Catalog are available to take in Spain. Students may earn up to 7 credits.

Funding: HOPE Scholarships may be applied to VSU tuition and program scholarships available (up to $1000) available for eligible students. Scholarship Deadline for the 2015 Study Abroad trip is October 31.

European Council Summer Study Abroad Program: Madrid, Spain
Consider spending the summer in Madrid, the geographic center of Spain and the historic center of the entire Hispanic world. The city of three million is a modern European hub with state-of-the-art transportation and cyber cafés, but its Old World charm shines through in its long afternoon siestas, its warm and friendly people, and its majestic monuments to Spain’s glorious past.
Duration / Location: Five Weeks / Madrid Spain. Program fee includes housing, most meals, round-trip international airfare, cultural events, a subway pass for unlimited travel on the Madrid subway system, and eight-day rail pass for travel throughout Spain, Portugal, and France.
