Welcome To The New Valdosta State Home Page

New Valdosta State University Homepage

What's new on the university homepage?

The Video Slideshow

Great things are happening at VSU, and photos just can’t tell you enough about it. Our new video slideshow captures the action and excitement of Valdosta State University for admissions, news and announcements.

Updated Navigation

The site navigation and header have been updated to include popular links and resources for our Alumni. You can now hover over any area to find the most popular resources for each area, or click the category to go to a general information page.

Quick Links

For the links VSU users click the most daily, we created the Quick Links toolbox. Just click on Quick Links in the header of any page to reveal favorites like A-Z Index, Campus Directory, Maps and more.

Larger Links

Gone are the tiny links and hard-to-click buttons. The new design features larger, easy-to-read text and mobile-friendly design.

An Improved Footer

The footer at the bottom of each page now includes links to VSU social media, popular resources, contact information, and opportunities to connect with Valdosta State.

Fewer Internal Links

The new Valdosta State University homepage provides greater resources and attention to our prospective students, opening the doors to the information and answers they are seeking to become Blazers. To promote this shift, many of the internal links for faculty, staff, and students have been moved into MyVSU. This declutters the homepage and makes information more readily available for our new students.

If you haven’t already, we encourage you to save MyVSU as your desktop browser’s homepage. Here are the directions to do so. Your bookmarked pages will not change.

University News and Calendar

The VSU calendar of events is still available to all users via links in the “Campus Life” menu and the Quick Links toolbox.

The university newsroom can now be accessed from anywhere on the website via links in the footer and the “About” menu. Major news releases and information will still be distributed on the homepage and MyVSU as appropriate.
