VALDOSTA — The Office of Career Opportunities at Valdosta State University will present Blazer Ready Series: Choosing a Career from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Student Union Meeting Room 1. Pizza and drinks will be served.

During this interactive workshop, participating students will have the opportunity to explore their values, interests, and skills; learn more about available career choices; and talk with career counselors.

“The objective of the Blazer Ready Series is to provide students with the necessary skills to be successful as a professional outside of the classroom,” said Tiffany Soma, a career counselor in the Office of Career Opportunities.

“The workshops are designed to be very interactive, motivating, and fun. By applying the skills learned in each workshop, students will develop a strong sense of professionalism and gain confidence in pursuing their career goals.”

The Blazer Ready Series will continue with Conducting Effective Interviews on March 28 and Creating an Online Presence on April 18.
