Media Advisory: S.A.V.E. Hosts Annual Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 21
VALDOSTA -- Students Against Violating the Environment
(S.A.V.E.) will host is annual Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21 in Drexel Park. This year's
celebration will focus on the importance of eating locally grown
foods and supporting local food establishments. The event will also
feature musical performances from the Jason Brandt Band and Soul
Tribe. The Earth Day Celebration offers a variety of activities for
children of all ages, including a petting zoo and bounce house.
Other participating organizations include the American Chemical
Society, Blazer Gardens, Student Action Council, the VSU
Horticulture Club and Wiregrass Activists for Clean Energy.
