Blazer Corps of Cadets 5K
VALDOSTA -- The Blazer Corps of Cadets at Detachment 172 will
host its annual 5K run at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Burton
Street, next to McKey Park.
Proceeds from the 3.1-mile race will benefit the United Service
Organization (USO), a non-profit corporation that provides morale,
welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military
personnel. Registration is $15 per person until Monday, Nov. 7, and
then $20 after that date. People may register on race day, but they
might not receive a T-shirt.
Application forms will be available Monday, Oct. 10, available in
the Odum Library, Student Recreation Center, Barrow Hall and in
various residence halls throughout campus. Mail or bring
