VSU Theatre & Dance Offers Season Memberships for 2011-2012Dance Season
VALDOSTA -- VSU Theatre & Dance is now offering season
memberships for the 2011-2012 dance season. The season will be made
up of seven productions encompassing dance, drama, comedy and
music.
“Season members have the satisfaction of knowing they are
supporting a quality theatre and dance program,” H. Duke Guthrie,
associate professor and managing director of Peach State Summer
Theatre, said. “This support is invaluable to the student artists
and the community.”
The membership comes with eight admissions, and season members will
also be able to purchase tickets to the annual cabaret scholarship
fundraiser at a reduced price. Advance reservations are required to
guarantee members seats at a specific performance.
VSU faculty and staff may purchase a season membership for $50 plus
tax, and the general public may purchase a membership for $55 plus
tax. The membership offers a significant savings over the adult
price of an admission to each offering of the season.
Memberships can be purchased now through the end of the fall
semester at the Theatre & Dance Box Office. The box office is
located next to Sawyer Theatre on the first floor of the Fine Arts
Building and will be open from 2-5 p.m. Monday through
Saturday.
