Use Your Noodle Competition
VALDOSTA -- Ramen Noodles and college go together like
Thanksgiving and pumpkin pie. Blazer Dining is requesting that
students use their noodle in a Battle of the Chefs - Ramen Noodle
from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Palms Dining Center.
Teams of four should sign up for the competition by Friday, Oct. 8.
Pick up entry forms at Palms Dining Center or download them off of
the Blazer Dining website, http://services.valdosta.edu/dining/.
Teams must attach their recipe, as well as an ingredient and
equipment list to the entry form. Each recipe may include any
number of ingredients; the only requirement is that it must
incorporate Ramen into the dish. Four teams will be chosen to
participate in the competition. Those finalists will be contacted
on Monday, Oct. 11.
Blazer Dining is also requesting judges for the competition. Judges
should return entry forms to Palms by Friday, Oct. 8. Eight judges
will be chosen and contacted by Monday, Oct. 11.
