Register for Diversity U
VALDOSTA -- The Office of Social Equity, formerly the Office of
Equal Opportunity Programs & Multicultural Affairs, will host a
series of diversity trainings for members of the VSU community. The
sessions will explore the impact cultural diversity has on daily
interactions and lasting perspectives.
Participants will learn to work productively in multicultural
environments and develop skills to increase cultural competence.
The value of differences among peers and colleagues will also be
addressed during this interactive, open format.
Diversity U 101 Training Dates:
Fall 2010
9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21
1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22
Spring 2011
9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011
1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011
