Weather Alert
The local area is under a Tornado Watch until 10 p.m. but severe
weather may continue later. Thunderstorms, heavy rains and flooding
are expected in some areas around Lowndes County. VSU encourages
all members of its community to take necessary safety precautions
and be aware of weather conditions.
Classes have not been cancelled, but VSU encourages students,
faculty and staff to monitor weather conditions in their areas and
use their best judgement when traveling to campus. Students should
contact their professors with questions about individual
classes.
