Schloss Addresses Campus During First Convocation
VALDOSTA - Dr. Patrick J. Schloss, Valdosta State University's
eighth president will address the campus community at his first
convocation at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, in the University Center
Magnolia Room.
Dr. Schloss will deliver the "State of the University" address and
faculty and staff excellence awards will be presented following the
president's remarks. After convocation, all faculty and staff
members are invited to attend a luncheon sponsored by Sodexo Campus
Services at Palms Dining Hall. The office of Housing and Residence
Life will offer tours of the newly constructed Hopper Hall
replacement from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Convocation will air on VSU-TV, Cable Channel 11, at 8 p.m. Monday,
Aug. 11, Wednesday, Aug. 13, and Friday, Aug. 15. Those who prefer
