Vote for Valdosta as an ESPN Title Town
VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University encourages all members of
the VSU and local communities to submit a nomination for Valdosta
as an ESPN “TitleTown.”
This summer, ESPN will visit 20 of these “TitleTowns,” each of
which will have a rich history in sports and an impressive winning
record. “Winnersville” should definitely be a contender.
VSU would like as many nominations from different community members
as possible, in order to make a strong impression on the panel. You
don't have to write an "essay" - just provide a brief description
about why the city deserves this distinction. Video nominations are
also being accepted. Visit http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/titletown/
to read more, submit a nomination or view the list of
nominees.
ESPN will choose 19 finalists and the last will be determined by
online voting during the week of May 26.
