Jennifer Tanner Joins University Relations Department

VALDOSTA - Jennifer Tanner joined the University Relations staff of Valdosta State University on Monday, March 26, as the Manager of Public Information and Media Relations. An Information Specialist, she is responsible for much of the university's internal and external communication.

Tanner is a graduate of VSU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She studied communication with an emphasis in public relations as an undergraduate and now studies Public Administration in VSU's masters program. She has three years experience in print media, received locally at The Valdosta Daily Times, where she wrote for Business, Homefront, local news and various special sections of the newspaper.
