Safe Spring Break Fair

Valdosta State University’s Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Education will hold its annual Safe Spring Break Fair on Tuesday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Palms Quad. The fair will feature a DUI Cone Course and a Rollover Simulator; as well as, door prizes, music, and free food for participants.

“The purpose of the fair is to provide our students with the information they need to make healthy, safe decisions while on spring break; these areas of concern, include alcohol and drug misuse, sexual responsibility, driving while tired/sleepy, and over exposure to the sun,” Mark Williams, coordinator for the Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Education, said. “Our students work hard throughout the semester and deserve to have a fun, relaxing time over spring break; it is my hope those memories will be positive ones.”

Valdosta State University’s spring break this year is scheduled for March 12-16.
