Continuing Education at VSU presents an Introduction to VoiceActing

Valdosta State University's Continuing Education Department is presenting "An Introduction to Voice Acting," a new and exciting course that will open the doors to a successful career in professional voice acting. The course will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2006 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm in the Continuing Education Auditorium, room 903. Cost is $40 and participants will earn .3 CEUs. The fee increases to $50 after October 26, 2006.

Starting with details of the voiceover industry, continuing to the philosophy of marketing, the importance of a voiceover demo, and much more, the 3-hour fun and informative workshop will finish with a recording of a student's own voiceover. The course is provided by Voices for All. The company was created to be a powerful conduit for voiceover artists to find success through education in the areas of vocal development, production techniques, industry trends, marketing, and home studio.

The Voices for All team members have provided professional assistance to a number of artists. The organization is committed to offering the most comprehensive and relevant introductory and master level training in voiceover artistry.
