VSU Alumnus joins Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with WyntonMarsalis

Chris Crenshaw, a 2005 alumnus from Valdosta State University's Music Performance program, has fulfilled his lifelong dream. This summer Chris accepted an offer by Wynton Marsalis to become the newest member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is one of the premiere jazz ensembles in the world and functions as a non-profit organization specializing in the music of jazz great Duke Ellington. Crenshaw performed for the first time as the jazz soloist during a summer tour to Japan.
