Spring Education Career Day set at VSU
The Office of Career Services & Cooperative Education will
host Education Career Day on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, from 10 a.m.
until 2 p.m., on the mezzanine level in the P.E. Complex.
Over 90 school systems are registered to attend from counties
across the state and north Florida. Students can schedule
interviews with participating school systems or organizations
during the walk-through session, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Interviews will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
VSU alumni, current students, and those holding or seeking teacher
certification are encouraged to attend. Attendees should dress
professionally, bring several copies of their resumes, and arrive
early for greatest exposure to all representatives.
A list of the 90 school systems participating in this event, along
with a list of their most needed majors, can be seen at the Career
Service office on the second floor of Powell Hall-West or at
www.valdosta.edu/career
