VSU hosts Gulf South Adult and Career Education Conference

Valdosta State University's Department of Adult and Career Education will host its 13th annual Gulf South Adult and Career Education Conference on March 3, 2006, beginning at 10 a.m., in the Education Center.

The conference will provide valuable tools for career and technical educators, mostly middle and secondary educators from Lowndes County and the surrounding counties. Over 20 different sessions will be offered, including several hands-on workshops that will take place throughout the day. The conference is designed for all areas of Adult and Career Education including Trade and Industry (T&I), Business Education, Agriculture, Family & Consumer Science, Health Occupations, Marketing, and Technical Education.

A $50 conference registration fee can be paid on-site or online and includes breakfast and lunch.
