New Chancellor's Remarks Rescheduled for February 8 (Board ofRegents Webcast)
Due to the funeral service for Mrs. Coretta Scott King on
Tuesday, February 7, meetings of the Board of Regents of the
University System of Georgia scheduled for that day have been
modified to merge with Wednesday's meeting. This means new
Chancellor Erroll Davis, Jr. will now deliver his remarks and
greeting to campuses shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February
8. Davis will also deliver the "Chancellor's Report to the Board of
Regents" at approximately 1:30 p.m. that afternoon.
Valdosta State University students, faculty, and staff are invited
to view webcasts of the two presentations. The viewing location at
VSU will be the newly outfitted Odum Library auditorium.
