Career events scheduled by VSU

Valdosta State University's Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education will host several opportunities throughout the month of February for current students and alumni to obtain valuable career information as well as on-campus interviews that may lead to employment.

The following information sessions and interviews will take place in Powell Hall-West on the second floor, unless otherwise noted:

Lowe's Companies, Inc. will provide information for a career in its Distribution Coach Leadership Program on Monday, February 20, at 6 p.m. Interviews will take place on Tuesday, February 21, beginning at 9 a.m.

Walt Disney World College Program will hold an information session on Tuesday, February 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the University Center Theater.

The Dart Center will have an information session on Monday, February 27, at 6 p.m. for a career as a community organizer. The interviews will follow on Tuesday, February 28.

These opportunities are open to VSU alumni and current students. Students must register for the information sessions in order to be considered for an interview.

Similar career opportunities for VSU students and alumni will also take place in March and April. For more information or to register, call the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education at 333-5942/5414.
