Six Valdosta State University students from the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration were recently awarded study-abroad scholarships of $1,000 each by the Rea and Lillian Steele Foundation: Sunny M. Baxter, Drapier R. Johnson, Drew K. Copeland, Jason T. Swinford, Wesley A. McDonald, and Kathleen M. Steffen.

Sunny M. Baxter, Drapier R. Johnson, and Drew K. Copeland will each attend five-week programs this summer, sponsored by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' European Council (EC). Baxter and Johnson will study in Paris, France while Copeland will study in London, England.

Jason T. Swinford will attend a six-week University of Miami program in China. Wesley A. McDonald is currently participating in a spring semester program at the University of Paisley in Scotland, while Kathleen M. Steffen is enrolled at the Universidad de Murcia in Spain.
Funding for other study abroad scholarships are still available, but interested students should apply to the program by March 1. For more information, contact Dr. Fred Ware at 229-245-2244 or fware@valdosta.edu.
