VSU's Annual International Dinner set for April 23

The Valdosta State University Society for International Students and the Center for
International Programs will present the 29th Annual International Dinner on April 23, at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Patterson St. and East Park Ave. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The International Dinner was founded 29 years ago as a way for VSU's international students to share their culture with the community of Valdosta. It is a celebration of cultural diversity that can be found in Valdosta. Currently, there are over 200 international students from 63 countries attending VSU.

The dinner will feature dishes from more than 25 countries. After dinner, students will entertain guests with traditional and modern songs, dances, music, skits, and other performances. There will also be an international fashion show.

Tickets to the International Dinner are limited and must be purchased in advance at the Center for International Programs located at 204 Georgia Avenue. No tickets will be sold at the door. Prices are $12, free for children under 3.
