Nursing student showcase their academic progress
Valdosta State University College of Nursing will host
Scholarship Day, on Friday April 18, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in
the University Center. This year's theme is "Nursing: Love in its
Purest Form" and will feature junior and senior nursing students
demonstrating their academic progress and knowledge in the field of
nursing.
Each session will feature poster and verbal presentation on a
variety of subjects including: workplace violence, fitness,
nutrition, biological preparedness and response, and hospice
care.
Recruiters from surrounding areas, including representative from
the Armed Forces, will be in attendance to provide nursing students
with information about their facilities, job prospects and bonuses
available for nurses entering the work force.
