WWET-FM hosts forums for South Georgia political candidates
WWET 91.7 FM will sponsor a series of political forums as
election day approaches. "Voicing the Vote" airs from 7 p.m. to 8
p.m. Mondays through Nov. 2.
The program will provide listeners with the opportunity to hear the
viewpoints of various candidates for area races, said Michael
Taylor, VSU instructor and executive producer of the series.
Candidates will give position statements and take questions from
the series producer, Mary Alice Adams-a faculty member in the
Communication Arts Department.
Races to be featured during the next few weeks include State House
Districts 176, 177 and 178, State Senate 8th District and U.S.
House 2nd District of Georgia.
"Voicing the Vote" is airing as a public service to Valdosta-area
listeners, coordinated by the VSU Communication Arts
Department.
