Kitchen Cabinets

During Independence Day Holidays last summer (1996), my father and I remodeled my parents' kitchen. We replaced and moved the sink and stove, added a window, and all new cabinets, wall covering, and floor covering. I spent several weekends building the cabinets. While my father and I were doing the demolition work, my mother stained the cabinets. Later in the week, my wife stained the doors and she and my mother installed the hardware.

I have before, during, and after pictures if you're interested. This was a good chance for me to use some of the techniques I had learned from Paul Levine's book and also a good change for me to spend some time with my father. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun.
